Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Develop front-end and back-end solutions for tools that power Apple Music Radio. Work with other engineers on the team to modernize JavaScript stack using React and web components. Responsible for understanding existing processes to automate and optimize workflows for users. Develop automated test suite for JavaScript components. Responsible for production support requests to troubleshoot and debug issues for quick resolution. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 - $258,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

• Utilizing Ruby language and Ruby on Rails framework for building web apps

• Using JavaScript and React to build dynamic user interfaces for tooling

• Debugging existing codebase to troubleshoot/resolve production issues

• Utilizing RSpec to write automated test suites for new and existing code

• Translating functional requirements into simple user interface wireframes

• Utilizing Postgres for data modeling and query optimization

• Utilizing GitHub for source code management to propose and review software changes
