DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Operations Team Manager - 3rd shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Whitakers, NC location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Leadership Skills: Effectively manage multiple production teams, ensuring that team members are motivated and productive. Provide clear direction and set expectations to achieve production targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other departments to improve safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency. Your ability to collaborate will be crucial in driving operational improvements.

  • Communication: Provide guidance and feedback to team members, ensuring they understand their tasks and responsibilities. Develop and deliver clear communications to keep everyone aligned.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Support the growth and development of your team by coaching and mentoring them. Help them achieve their career goals while meeting organizational objectives.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop comprehensive training plans. Implement these plans to enhance the skills and capabilities of your team.

  • Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively and find solutions to improve processes. Your ability to think critically and make timely decisions will be essential.

  • Safety and Housekeeping: Champion health and safety practices and ensure a clean and organized work environment. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and recognizing achievements. Use performance metrics to drive results and improve efficiency.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of supervisory experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 100% Onsite role based out of Whitakers, NC

  • Understands Basics of Manufacturer

  • Ability to lead team with minimal supervision

  • This is a 3rd shift role from 10pm to 6am, May need to work some weekends and holidays based on business needs.

  • Preferred candidates will possess 4 years of leaderships experience in high volume manufacturing

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering

  • Six sigma certified in a plus, but not a requirement
