We are looking for an experienced Data Pipeline Engineer to support our growing advertising business. In this role, you will work within our Apple Ads Sales Operations team to support and empower the sales analytics organization by leveraging your business knowledge and context to build data pipelines powering internal reporting and tools.

Description

A successful candidate will have deep experience in building data pipelines to support analytics and reporting across a globally distributed sales team. The role requires both a broad knowledge of existing analytical techniques and strong business insight. You’ll be working on projects where tools and methods are used to drive real-world business value, using creativity to invent and customize when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience using analytics to solve business problems

  • Fluency with SQL for coding and database querying

  • Experience with DBT

  • BS in data science, statistics, economics, computer science or other quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced education degree in data science, statistics, economics, computer science or other quantitative field

  • Experience in Ad Tech or digital advertising

  • Strong track record of building data pipelines

  • Ability to understand and contextualize the needs of key business stakeholders and translate those requirements into scalable data models that support analytics and reporting

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
