Description

Do you have a passion for building robust automated tests? If so, we invite you to join the Apple Pay Quality Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Apple Pay products that surprise and delight millions of customers. As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and seamlessness of Apple Pay, a service that is constantly evolving with cutting edge features. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong technical and debugging skills, and a drive to make a difference. To be successful in this role, you should be a seasoned developer with strong programming fundamentals. This includes designing, documenting, and building automated tests at scale.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.

• Experience with Swift, Objective-C, or similar languages.

• Experience with automation planning, execution, and triage for projects on any of the platforms: iOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS is desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and environments.

• Creative thinker with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong bug reporting skills and the ability to drive issues to quick resolution.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xcode

• XCUITest test framework

• Good understanding of CI/CD principles and the optimal way to design testing strategy for cloud applications

• Expertise in writing code to automate tests for an iOS application

• Familiarity with AI/ML solutions

• Experience collaborating with multiple cross functional teams

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
