American Express entered the travel agency business in 1915 and today is one of the world’s largest luxury travel and lifestyle service networks. TLS is a critical component of the value proposition of the American Express premium card products, focused on delivering Travel and Lifestyle benefits which allow American Express to create differentiation and loyalty with premium CMs.
Role Overview
This role sits within the TLS Global Customer Experience (GCX) Strategic Initiatives team and supports end-to-end portfolio planning, execution, and tracking. The Analyst plays a key role in enabling effective Product Portfolio Management through coordination, reporting, and data-driven insights across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Enterprise Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) process, including capability definition and annual planning activities
Track and report on BID/Epic and Capability progress in partnership with Product, PD&I, and TPM teams (across internal and external demand)
Develop and maintain GCX Product Portfolio roadmaps, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and delivery timelines
Design and deliver ad hoc reporting to enhance portfolio visibility and decision-making (e.g., product team views, budget burn tracking)
Contribute to the development of SLT Portfolio Update materials, ensuring clear and accurate executive reporting
Maintain data integrity and accuracy within Rally, with oversight at Epic and Capability levels
Support and coordinate GCX Learning Strategy initiatives, including Agile, Mural, and Rally training programs
Coordinate PI Planning and Post-PI Planning activities across Product and PD&I teams
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Airtable (or similar data/portfolio management tools)
Experience in portfolio, product, or program management within a cross-functional environment
Strong technical acumen, with the ability and curiosity to understand systems, platforms, and capabilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights
Qualifications
Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits
