Job Description

The Business Excellence and Transformation Manager provides site strategy and change management to elevate site performance, as well as manage global initiatives. These include Operations Excellence projects, digital transformation, site capacity and program management. This position provides strategic direction on key projects, designs and advocates for appropriate continuous improvement methodologies to ensure sustainability of new and implemented projects.

In addition, this role provides leadership and drives initiatives to improve the culture and employee engagement at the site, to enable digital transformation into a lab and factory of the future state.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive global and site excellence initiatives leadership and coaching of direct and indirect resources leading Operations Excellence, Project Management for major site projects and NPI, Business System and digital transformation.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to develop strategic scenarios.

  • Drive the team and stakeholders to lead site transformation in the above areas

  • Assess business processes to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Work with above-site functions to determine scenario plannings to enable maximize site utilization based on projects, clinical and commercial manufacturing program needs.

  • Oversee site master schedule planning and project management for major site projects and new product introductions to ensure projects are kept within budget and schedule

  • Identify site opportunities and drive the team to execute on continuous improvements, cost improvements and digital transformation projects.

  • Drive benchmarking/sharing of best practices and support the development of a global

    knowledge management network.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Keep updated with digitalization trends and implement new industry standards to enable site to become the lab and factory of the future

  • Responsible for owning and reporting site KPIs

Qualifications

  • BS required, MS or PHD in Science, Engineering or Business Management a plus

  • Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in Business Excellence, Operations, Program Management or related experiences

  • Proven track record in implementing and managing site level projects

  • Accredited Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification preferred; PMP preferred

  • Excellent communication skills are required

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
