Summary

Join our Software Engineering team to design, develop, and patent groundbreaking wireless connectivity technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread. Collaborate cross-functionally to craft wireless solutions that elevate the customer experience with Apple products and services. The Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team is looking for a software engineer to help ensure quality and stability for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Networking technologies for all iOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS and watchOS platforms. Description

As a Wireless Stability Test Engineer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for the stability of WiFi, Bluetooth and Thread software on Apple products. The successful candidate will be involved in stress and stability testing for WiFi/BT technologies and its features for iPhones/iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TV’s, and Mac product lines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in testing Wireless technologies - WiFi and/or Bluetooth - Functional or Performance or Stability Testing

  • Preferable to have automation experience in any of the programming languages - C/C++ or scripting skills in python/shell.

  • Deep understanding of SQA methodologies & practices

  • Good Understanding and working knowledge of WiFi and/or BT protocols preferred, CWNA preferred

  • Good understanding of Operating System concepts

  • Experience in developing test strategies and test methodologies

  • Experience in developing automated test cases

  • Can clearly communicate and drive projects across many teams

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and comfortable working with cross-functional teams

  • Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers

  • Passionate about learning
