The Services Advertising team at Apple is responsible for cultivating awareness, building product education, and driving new customer acquisition across Apple’s full suite of first party services through a variety of marketing channels. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to help identify key drivers of business metrics and optimize our campaigns in partnership with our in house activation team.
Description
In this role, you will be supporting our paid digital advertising function, developing analytics projects from conception to completion. In partnership with our Martech team and in house activation team, you will develop reports, measurement plans, and requirements. The data and insights team within services advertising supports all lines and sit within the digital marketing and advertising function. You will compile cross-channel reporting data, as well as communicate key insights, offering recommendations to stakeholders. The Services Digital Advertising team is responsible for driving new customer acquisition as well as cultivating awareness and education through a variety paid digital marketing channels.
You will also be responsible for evaluating and summarizing performance of display, SEM, and paid social digital campaigns, as well as identifying and surfacing new opportunities. Additionally you will work with Martech, Strategy, Activation, and other Analytics teams to develop testing plans and validate MMM’s that drive innovation. Your ability to concisely communicate learnings will provide Marketing and Activation teams with a clear understanding of our performance within the Paid Digital landscape.
You’ll also be working with Measurement Instrumentation, Media Ops, and Ad Ops teams to ensure data hygiene. You'll have experience defining and measuring short-term and long-term marketing success across multiple channels, identifying primary and secondary KPIs, and have a strong passion for data storytelling. Your ability to digest media strategy, analyze data, and create a story that speaks to the needs of the business will be key in driving the success of our strategies and campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics with emphasis on digital paid media metric, business insights and strategic communication
Thorough understanding of digital media metrics, both from a brand and direct response perspective - digital subscription business experience is preferred
Expertise in digital advertising/marketing attribution, measurement, and cross-channel measurement (display + SEM + paid social + affiliate channels)
A track record of developing concise and significant analytic objectives from general business goals
Strong Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming - SQL, Python or R.
Strong Proficiency with databases including SQL queries and visualization tools (e.g.Tableau)
Meticulous attention to detail, an ability to collaborate effectively between business and data groups
Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and keen ability to synthesize complex data points
Strong troubleshooting skillset for data discrepancies and an understanding of data pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to develop A/B test experimentation design and analysis as well as multi-variate testing
Experience building and analyzing MMMs
Experience with Marketing products - i.e. Attribution, Tracking, etc.
Data Science exposure
AWS
BS/BA degree required; MS degree a plus
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,400 and $210,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
