Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Lead design support and implementation of software for Apple Online Store Content Management systems and tools. Participate in business requirements analysis and technical designing sessions. Lead technical project development teams in support of business and internal projects. Design, develop and promote server-side architecture of internal technology stack and frameworks. Define and develop internal standards, practices and methodologies for the content systems engineering efforts. Interface with other AOS cross-functional engineering groups to support business project delivery. Mentor and guide more junior engineering development team members in aligning to team standards. 40 hours/week.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Java or JavaEE
NoSQL Database technologies such as Cassandra, MongoDB, Elastic Search, or Redis
Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Rest API development or other similar Service Oriented Architecture paradigms and technologies
Distributed service coordination technologies, such as Apache Zookeeper or Kubernetes
Messaging frameworks such as Kafka, AWS SNS, SQS, or Solace
Cloud experience working with platforms such as Amazon AWS, Google GCP, OneOps or other industry equivalents
Build and development tools such as Sonar, Maven, Gradle, GIT, or Jenkins and Java IDE’s such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
