Description

The Vendor Management Organization (VMO) manager within the Maps Business Operations team is responsible for defining and implementing a robust and best-in-class VMO. Responsibilities include maturing our current capabilities and building out other strengths. The Vendor Management Organization (VMO) manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the organization's vendor engagements, from the strategy, engagement, ensuring corporate compliance to contract execution and management. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • 10+ years experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles, ideally in the tech industry.

  • 5+ years managing direct reports.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with vendor management software and tools.
