Job Description
The Process and Performance Learning Manager I serves as a strategic leader to Liaisons and key stakeholders to assess and understand process requirements and learning needs to drive excellence in global clinical trial execution. Identify, establish and maintain curricula which includes quality system documents and learning that align to business processes, regulatory requirements, R&D Development functions, and study execution. This position is accountable for accurate, comprehensive, and applicable curricula.
Responsibilities
Partner with Senior Leadership to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements is balanced with business objectives and priorities when driving the Learning Strategy as well as effectively identify and lead high performing teams in support of the strategy and vision.
Collaborate closely with AbbVie and industry curricula leaders to ensure alignment, determine future focus and share best practices. Effectively balance stakeholder input with curricula expertise.
Analyze and evaluate learning needs in support of business process including onboarding and reflecting regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement communication plan in support of learning programs.
Responsible to understand AbbVie's Quality System, GCP, BPO framework and able to translate to staff as applicable. Able to translate strategy into operations and manage multiple changing priorities
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curricula by implementing measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment to business objectives. Responsible for conducting periodic review of learning programs and content to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
Work with Instructional Designers and Development Document Writers to develop and implement robust, engaging learning programs to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
In partnership with Liaison, ensure processes, courses and curricula are aligned with the strategic objectives of the R&D Development organization. Assess new and revised documents to ensure accurate compliance assignments. Collaborate with Liaisons to identify needs/gaps and drive the learning strategy to meet/mitigate knowledge gaps.
In partnership with Learning Management System Specialist, contribute to function-specific compliance requirements.
May participate in global, cross-functional initiatives/teams in support of business priorities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or ex-US equivalent) is required, typically in learning/development, adult education or scientific field. Experience in learning management, quality systems and organizational development is highly desirable.
Must have 6 years of of experience in strategy and execution of curricula. Experience in Pharma or other highly regulated industries desired.
Possesses good communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
Demonstration of successful execution of compliance and training strategy in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities effectively using innovative and creative solution.
Demonstration of successful coaching/ mentoring in a matrix environment.
Competent in the application of standard business procedures (SOPs, ICH, Global Regulations, Ethics and Compliance).
Familiar with instructional design principles and adult learning tools.
This position will report into a Director level and may have responsibility for matrix managing their assigned team.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ?

Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
