Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop tools and automate manual test cases to improve workflow, as well as increase test coverage. Investigate automated test result failures and improve robustness of existing cases. Collaborate with frameworks teams to develop and maintain automation frameworks to latest coding standards. Perform regression, smoke, ad hoc, and end-to-end testing throughout the software release cycle using tools including Xcode, InteliJ, PythonIDE tools and etc. Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and stakeholders on testing new features. Maintain, document, and execute test cases. Identify, investigate, and call attention to critical issues that may impact the end user experience and overall software quality.
40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 - $258,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields and 2 years of experience in job offered or a related occupation.
2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Use Programming languages such as Java, Python, Swift, or equivalent for backend support
Use API testing with s tools such as Postman for testing server/backend and for utilizing internal testing tools and create automated jobs or scripts for tools in daily use
Use Server testing to test around areas such as machine learning, backend tools and image processing. Experience with judging quality of algorithmically derived results.
Use Grey box testing to completed code-based testing.
Experience with NoSQL Database, such as Cassandra for daily backend, greybox or database testing
Use Git for commanding line and github for efficiency and basic functionalities.
Use Bash scripting to enhance productivity and provide automation or shortcuts for general workflow or repetitive tasks
