How will you make an impact in this role?

The Fraud New Product Development and Policy Authorization team is a group of highly experienced risk officers responsible for managing business and product feature rules at the Point of Sale (POS) and integrating new digital payment solutions into the broader risk framework. We serve as a key bridge between innovation and protection, ensuring the secure onboarding of emerging payment products while aligning with our enterprise risk appetite and regulatory standards.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manager who can

  • support the development and optimization of policy strategies across key business functions

  • manage and enhance policy and authentication options for new products through operational and performance data, delivering insights that inform and refine policy for new product.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a process-oriented mindset, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes while ensuring compliance and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track performance of policy rules against the risk appetite framework to optimize risk decision

  • Execute tasks related to aligned risk frameworks

  • Conduct risk assessments for Account Takeover and conduct controls testing in accordance with Internal Controls Policy

  • Perform regular evaluations of RCSA effectiveness, identifying improvement opportunities and overseeing the implementation of enhancements

  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices and provide oversight of processes to monitor, evaluate and integrate regulatory changes into RCSA framework & trainings

  • Work closely with other control functions (i.e., Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit) to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to risk governance

  • Provide metrics of new emerging payment products

  • Analyze the behavior of digital payments with respect to fraud metrics and provide recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum four years of experience in risk management within the banking/financial services industry including policy development, risk appetite and risk control self-assessment and testing.

  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Working knowledge of data mining tools/technologies (ie. SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables)

  • Proven ability to identify risks, analyze issues and derive meaningful insights about risk trends by analyzing large volumes of data.

  • Displays a mindset of questioning assumptions, critically assessing information and seeking evidence to validate conclusions, so decisions are unbiased and well-founded. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, excellent relationship building skills and ability to influence partners based on data

  • High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability

  • Positive “roll-up your sleeves” attitude and a proactive mentality

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
