Job Description
The One IBD Lead is responsible for leading and supporting a team in the development, alignment and execution of Cross IBD based on the BTLs strategic guidance/direction around:
Standard of Care Strategies and tactics
OCM
P2P
EE Engagement & Educational Training
International Congress & CI
Business Models
IBD Governance and Key Strategic Presentations
Strong collaboration required with the Brand Teams for CD, UC and pipeline. This leader must have the enterprise mindset to harmonize and prioritize all brand strategies.
This position reports to the GM Gastro and works closely with the BTL CD/UC and Medical team to ensure alignment to Cross IBD strategic imperatives is clear and deliverables are met.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead and develop the One IBD Strategic imperatives and tactical plans for P2P and OCM, fully aligned with the CD and UC brand strategies.
Champion ACE by working closely with ACE lead to ensure implementation of an exceptional customer experience through OCM tactics aligned to brand strategies.
Lead One IBD congress strategy, with UEGW, DDW, AOCC and ECCO as a key deliverable.
Look for synergies across teams that can improve the way of working and optimize deliverables
Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results
Established a strong external engagement plan to increase our collaboration with KOLs and societies.
Contribute to AbbVie’s leadership position in gastroenterology.
Lead and coach direct reports
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical Medical and/or Marketing experience
Competency of the current medical and regulatory approval process
Proven track record of effectively working in cross-functional teams and matrix environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong quantitative skills
Able and willing to extensively travel internationally (~ 50%).
Bachelor’s Degree
Position Based in Lake County
Preferred Experience (in addition to Basic):
MBA or advanced degree
Global and Affiliate/Country experience (at least a BUM position in an affiliate with a field leadership experience)
Sales, Market Access, or other relevant experience that complements the marketing role.
