Summary

Join the ETS Insight team and help build the data platform that powers Apple's global manufacturing operations. We help teams within Apple collect, analyze, and visualize manufacturing and supply chain data for every iPhone, iPad, Mac, etc. produced worldwide. Our petabyte-scale systems provide critical insights that engineering and operations teams use to build Apple's next great product.

Description

As a product designer on our team, you'll design intuitive interfaces and collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and manufacturing experts to transform complex manufacturing problems into user-friendly experiences that drive operational excellence across Apple's global supply chain.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong communication skills and ability to present design rationale to stakeholders

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers and product managers

  • Experience with user research methods specific to enterprise, data-driven products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of professional experience

  • Experience in information visualization, data storytelling, or data journalism

  • Proficiency in data visualization libraries and frameworks (D3.js, Observable, Tableau, etc.)

  • Experience with statistical analysis and data manipulation tools (SQL, Python pandas, R, etc.)

  • Proficiency with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to prototype interactive visualizations
