The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The Travel & Lifestyle Services (TLS) business provides exclusive access, differentiated value, extraordinary service, and unrivaled expertise to premium Card Members seeking leisure or business travel, as well as a variety of lifestyle services. The TLS COE (Center of Excellence) is tasked with uniting the travel and lifestyle benefits and strategic travel partner relationships globally to create structured and focused plans towards advanced Card Member engagement with Amex travel benefits.
The Global Strategic Partnerships and Marketing (GPM) within TLS/American Express Travel brings together the best travel partners in the world to create unparalleled value and unforgettable experiences across the travel journey - and amplifies this to Card Members wherever they are.
The Senior Analyst, Email Marketing will be responsible for leading our TLS owned email marketing curriculum and strategy, focusing on deepening engagement with our card members and elevating our travel partners and programs, inclusive of Fine Hotels Resorts, The Hotel Collection, and the International Airline Program. This Senior Analyst will lead creative development, journey & targeting enhancements, performance analysis, and unlocking new communications through the channel, ensuring flawless operational excellence throughout the execution process.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize and deliver a customer-first, behavior-based email marketing curriculum with AmexTravel.com engagers and bookers
Convert Card Members to book through Amex Travel and gain a larger share of their travel spend through the development and enhancement of targeted communications, highlighting relevant Amex Travel partners and programs within the messaging
Support contractual and strategic partner marketing in email communications
Own end to end email marketing execution, from creative brief development to ongoing reporting and analysis of campaign
Work closely with external creative agency to optimize messaging and creative to drive greater results
Partner with key enterprise partners (Amex Travel Marketing and Analytics, Legal, Card Marketing Teams) and have a strong understanding of key platforms to unlock new targeting, segmentation and creative opportunities across our email curriculum
Analyze results and budget monthly to continuously drive optimizations and efficiencies through our email marketing
Ensure ongoing operational excellence by owning email-related controls and testing
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of marketing experience; experience in email marketing preferred
Data-driven marketer who leverages insights to develop new and impactful customer-first strategies
Strong organization and project management skills; with strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and flawlessly execute on multiple projects and timelines
Ability to build strong relationships, seamlessly collaborate, and influence cross functional business partners
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Have a “can do” attitude towards problem solving and lead with a solution-oriented approach
Bachelor’s Degree required

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
