How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes, with small business being the largest customer segment and a continued area of investment and focus. We operate a comprehensive ecosystem across small business, mid-sized companies, and large / global organizations. It is imperative that our marketing strategies expand across customer segments, channels, and our varied product set. The role within Strategic Capabilities & Business Operations (SCBO) will be focused on providing the North Star strategic direction for GCS marketing. This role will live within a new organization Strategic Capabilities & Business Operations with a mandate to shape the GCS Mar Tech strategy, lead annual tech planning, and enhance the compliance and operational risk environment for marketers. This is a net new team that will grow over time. This role reports directly into the head of SC&BO.

The Director - Integrated Marketing Strategy will be focused on 2 main pillars:

(1) North star strategic projects that cut across marketing segments / channels / and product sets. Some of these projects ladder up to key GCS priorities or even link to Enterprise Critical Initiatives.

(2) Executive support for GCS strategic marketing updates with the GCS President and their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Oversee the strategic development of key marketing strategies

  • Transformational Change Management: Manage multiple stakeholders across marketing, product, and tech organizations

  • Executive Presentations: Focus on clear and concise strategic storytelling

  • Analytics: Ability to analyze internal and external customer data for strategic analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strategic Storytelling: Taking opinions, data, and hypothesis and turn into a cogent storyline

  • Operate Autonomously: Takes a project from ideation to delivery. Able to prioritize in ambiguous situations.

  • Proactivity: Always striving to deliver great output. Proactive, self-driven, curious, and loves learning.

  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Communicates information, data based hypotheses, and concepts clearly.

  • Organization and Planning: Plans, organizes, and schedules in an efficient, productive manner; focuses on key priorities; manages time well.

  • Flexibility/Adaptability: Cool with quickly changing priorities and conditions; copes effectively with complexity and change.

  • Persistence: Follows through on items without being managed. Resourceful, has grit, and a positive “can do” attitude.

  • Leadership: Sound interpersonal skills and proven ability to navigate in a cross-functional setup

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred

  • 8-10 years business experience preferred

Qualifications

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
