About Credit & Fraud Risk Finance
The Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team partners with the Risk organization to drive analytics which support our risk activities and inform the Company’s credit outlook, including expectations for write-offs, CECL reserve levels and CCAR stress testing. The team delivers fact-based, decision-driven and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk related insights. The key objective is to drive profitable financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls. This VP position will be part of the CFR Finance leadership team.
About The Vice President, CECL Reserve Analytics
This position will deliver deep analytics, insights and governance related to CECL credit reserves and is a critical member of the CFR Finance leadership team. The role will play an important role in identifying emerging credit risks and measuring the financial impact of key credit risk models. The VP will lead credit reserve discussions with the Credit Reserve Committee (CRC) and regulators including the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC). The VP will also lead analysis of our IFRS9 international credit reserves.
This VP position will be responsible for leading a talented and high performing global team based in New York and India. The CECL reserve analytics team partners closely with Risk Management, Controllership, Business Finance and Model Risk Management Guidance (MRMG) teams, on all aspects of credit reserve modeling and analytics. The team has strong analytical skills which enable it to analyze credit issues, build data-driven models and provide insights.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Lead results and analysis for CECL Credit reserve driving deep analytics & insights with an enterprise focus
Lead credit reserve discussions with the Credit Reserve Committee, Risk Management teams, all lines of defense and regulators
Identify potential emerging credit risks from both internal and external sources, including changes in the macro-economic environment. Develop analytics to determine impact on credit reserves.
Run well-controlled and governed process for CECL and IFRS9 reserves including Non-model Tools
Partner with other CFR Finance teams, Risk and Controllership on evaluation of credit reserve drivers and forecast implications
Deepen partnerships with various Risk and Finance teams including Credit Officers, Controllership, BU CFOs, Enterprise and BU FP&A, Investor Relations etc.
Lead a global team of twelve high performing colleagues based in New York and India
What You’ll Bring
Deep Experience in Advanced Analytics and Big Data Models; hands-on experience managing/ leading projects using large amounts of data
Credit Risk experience and analytics strongly preferred
Experience leading a complex, cross-enterprise process employing the appropriate governance and controls
Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Hive required; Python, R preferred, Power BI or other visualization tools experience preferred
BS/MS in Finance, Mathematics and/or Computer Science

Organized Approach – Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with great follow-up and attention to detail, and work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Qualifications
Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
