Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Work on automation of business systems critical for the Apple organization. Utilize technologies such as Nginx, Netscalar, Load Balancing and Docker or Kubernetes Automation of business systems critical for the Apple organization to build a great user experience. Design and manage core infrastructure services as configuration management, authentication, orchestration and provisioning. Utilize scripting and a programming language such as Python in order to automate cloud infrastructure tasks. Responsible for supporting, designing, testing, reviewing, system maintenance, vendor and contractor liaison and other activities as required for the effort. Provide Tier 2/3 technical support regarding load balancing issues. Automate processes where appropriate and apply datastore best practices. Collaborate with development and evaluation teams in the design of supporting infrastructure and automated processes to ensure successful delivery of stable, maintainable, and supportable services. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 1 year of experience with: NginxPlus or Linux

  • 1 year of experience with: Citrix Netscaler

  • 1 year of experience with: Kubernetes

  • 1 year of experience with: Puppet

  • 1 year of experience with: Go programming language or Shell scripting

  • 1 year of experience with: Ansible
