The Claris product management team is looking for a Manager of Product Managers who combines strong leadership with hands-on product execution skills.

The person in this role, will lead a small team of product managers and, through them, will contribute driving the stability, growth and improvement of Claris development platform. It is a great opportunity to work on critical strategy initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced team.
Description
Product Managers in our organization sit at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. On an average day, you might pitch a concept to senior leadership, create a launch plan with marketing, work with designers and researchers to conduct user interviews or concept tests, conceptualize a new feature, analyze usage data, and/or contribute to the overall company strategy.
We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, prioritizing product features, and collaborating with engineering to develop our products.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of recent experience managing teams of three or more Product Managers, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Able to provide coaching product managers to improve decision-making, prioritization, and leadership abilities.
8+ years as a Product Manager, driving the development and launch of products, with a strong focus on rapid application development platforms and related technologies.
Strong understanding of business metrics (revenue drivers, P&L management, ROI) and ability to align product strategy to business outcomes.
Skilled in prioritization and backlog management (5+ years managing product backlogs in agile environments).
Comfortable writing PRDs, defining user journeys, defining use cases, and running teams, not just delegating them.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with competing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and quick timelines.
Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, automation, platform integrations, and the broader software development lifecycle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders, including executives, partners, and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree; technical background is preferred.
Experience applying generative AI and large language model (LLM) technologies to B2B or workflow-oriented use cases, ideally within areas such as productivity tools, automation, or developer platforms.
Proven experience leading design, feature definition, and delivery of software products from concept to shipped releases.
Strong experience with agile development practices, particularly Scrum, and a track record of incremental software delivery.
Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $208,400 and $313,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
