Summary

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.

Are you a strategic thinker who excels at tactical execution? Do you love to solve problems and have an uncanny knack for analytics? As part of our World Wide Sales Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) group, you and your team will be responsible for implementing strategies, programs, tools, and processes that enable the business to drive sales, improve customer experience, and innovate the way we lead and support one of the largest channel operations in the world. These solutions are typically new technical capabilities and/or the transformation of business processes to support continuously evolving sales motions, expanding Geo coverage and routes-to-market, and growing complexity of sales plays.

As a WW Sales BPR Program Manager, you will drive critical initiatives focused on optimizing our sales finance processes, particularly around quotation, pricing, and sales commission management. You will lead end-to-end projects, leveraging your deep understanding of financial workflows within a sales context and your expertise with Salesforce. As a vital link between Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams, you will translate complex business and financial requirements into robust technical solutions and ensure seamless project delivery from strategic planning through successful implementation.

Description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage strategic programs and projects within the Sales BPR portfolio, specifically targeting enhancements to our global quotation, pricing, and sales commission systems and processes.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership, finance teams, sales operations, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand business challenges, elicit detailed requirements, and define optimal future state processes and technology solutions for sales finance.
  • Leverage your Salesforce expertise to analyze current implementations, identify opportunities for optimization, and design scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem to support quotation, commission, and related financial processes.
  • Translate high-level business objectives and detailed financial/operational requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process diagrams that engineering teams can effectively implement within Salesforce and integrated systems.
-Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and present findings and recommendations to various audiences, ensuring alignment and buy-in across all levels of the organization, particularly between Sales and Finance.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of sales finance initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, finance systems, sales operations, and other cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for significant process improvement and automation within the quotation-to-cash cycle and commission calculation, leveraging Salesforce and other integrated technologies to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support change management activities, including developing communication plans, training materials, and user adoption strategies for new processes and systems impacting sales and finance teams.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for projects, and track post-implementation performance to ensure solutions deliver intended business value and financial accuracy.
  • Ensure all projects and solutions align with the broader Sales BPR strategy, finance objectives, and Apple’s overall business goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience

  • Background in a business analyst, project/program management, and/or similar role focused on sales finance, quotation, pricing, and sales commission processes.

  • Significant experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, or other relevant modules), including configuration, customization, data modeling, and integration within complex enterprise environments.

  • Deep expertise in SDLC project management and analysis for finance/sales operations workflows (e.g., current state assessment, future state definition, gap analysis, requirements gathering, specifications, user stories, process flows, timelines, user acceptance testing, change management, etc.)

  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, and lead simultaneous projects with competing priorities, strategies, and timescales

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and tailor to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience creating polished executive presentations and “storytelling through data” to motivate and inspire others

  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners

  • Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions

  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to investigate data, business, or systems problems to expose root causes and identify solution options

  • Forward-thinking approach and tenacity to anticipate risks/opportunities and proactively drive towards the desired outcome

  • Expert organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
