Description

On this team, you will be a pivotal technical leader, driving the architectural vision, design, and implementation of core features for our photo and image editing applications. You will take end-to-end ownership, from initial concept and rapid prototyping to delivering robust, high-performance, and maintainable solutions that delight creatives everywhere.

To succeed in this role, you must be a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations. You should be excited about both rapidly prototyping new features and as well as taking the time to create a forward-looking architectural foundation.

This role is for you if you are a visionary problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of both deep technical execution and strategic thinking. You possess an innate understanding of the nuances of photography and the challenges faced by visual creators. You are not just writing code; you are shaping the future of how people capture, edit, and share their most cherished visual memories.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in iOS application development

  • Expertise in Apple's core frameworks, particularly PhotoKit, Core Image, Core Graphics, AVFoundation, and Metal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading the architecture and development of complex, high-performance media editing applications.

  • A deep understanding of modern camera technologies, image formats, color science, and computational photography principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to technically lead projects, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.

  • Experience with large-scale asset management and optimizing for performance with high-resolution media.
