From delivering differentiated products to providing world-class customer service, we operate with a strong risk mindset, ensuring we continue to uphold our brand promise of trust, security, and service.
As part of Team Amex, you'll experience this powerful backing with comprehensive support for your holistic well-being and many opportunities to learn new skills, develop as a leader, and grow your career. Here, your voice and ideas matter, your work makes an impact, and together, you will help us define the future of American Express.
American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a leading B2B solutions provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The Marketing Strategy & Content team is responsible for producing and informing compelling, insight-driven marketing that cohesively showcases the holistic value of American Express to business customers. We do this by deepening B2B brand engagement, enabling exceptional marketing, and delivering breakthrough go-to-market strategies.
The Senior Manager, B2B Content Site Strategy & UX, leads the strategic vision, experience design, and platform evolution for the B2B Content Site. This role owns the end-to-end site user journey — using our platform as a mid-funnel connectivity driver, turning interest into action through an intuitive, high-performing digital experience. Partnering across content, SEO, product, engineering, marketing analytics and agency teams, this leader ensures the platform delivers measurable business impact at speed and scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and lead the end-to-end site strategy and UX roadmap, aligning business goals, customer insights, SEO priorities, and technical capabilities into a clear, KPI-driven plan.
Own the strategy and execution of prospect and customer journey design across the content site — partnering with the Content Strategy & Production and Acquisition teams to drive engagement and nurture audiences down funnel.
Lead cross-functional delivery across agency partners, engineering, and product ownership to translate strategy into prioritized backlogs, sprint execution, and on-time delivery.
Translate research, behavioral analytics, and experimentation (A/B testing, heatmapping, usability testing) into actionable feature enhancements, personalization strategies, and measurable optimization plans.
Oversee site architecture, taxonomy, tagging, governance, and platform strategy (AEM, integrations, migrations, performance, security), ensuring scalability, compliance, accessibility (WCAG), and technical SEO excellence.
Deliver executive-ready reporting and forward-looking insights, clearly articulating site performance, experimentation outcomes, and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
Manage one direct report, who acts as the site PO and is responsible for roadmap execution.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of relevant experience in web strategy, digital product management, UX, or content platform leadership within complex, matrixed organizations.
Proven ability to translate business strategy and customer needs into scalable digital roadmaps and intuitive user experiences.
Experience in CMS platforms, technical SEO, analytics tools, modern web architecture, and agile product delivery models.
Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineering, product, agencies, SEO, content) and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated expertise in experimentation (A/B testing), data analysis, and performance reporting tied to KPIs and conversion metrics.
Exceptional communication, executive presence, and documentation skills, with the ability to operate comfortably in ambiguity and drive clarity across stakeholders.
