Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization manages key business and technical infrastructure at Apple — how online orders are placed, the customer experience with technology in our retail stores, how much network capacity we need around the world and much more.

The SAP Global Systems team within IS&T runs the financial transactional platform that powers e-commerce for Apple Media Products. Apple's SAP Global Systems organization has an immediate opening for a SAP BRIM or FICO functional project manager who has the right mix of SAP functional, technical and project management skills to attend business requirement gathering sessions and develop conceptual and detailed design, which is scalable, reliable, and secure to meet business needs.

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to contribute to the growth of Apple’s services business globally.

The primary responsibilities of this role includes overseeing mid to large SAP green field country expansions, particularly in the payment card domain. The Project Manager will be responsible for designing and configuring SAP FICO and FICA modules, ensuring system configuration, drafting detailed design specifications, supporting testing and deployment processes, and managing project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope, and definition.

Other responsibilities include:
Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements, provide conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs, perform necessary SAP configurations, write detail specifications for development of custom programs, test and implement the automated solutions

Handle project activities including scope management, overseeing the project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope and definition.

Deliver high-quality SAP solutions within a dynamic environment and within challenging timelines

Manage multiple tasks or projects with changing priorities

Explore and learn new technologies/frameworks

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years experience with multiple SAP FICO or SAP FICA or BRIM and SD module full life cycle implementations.

  • 5 years experience in finance business process integration and digital media/subscription process management is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient written communication skills, encompassing business and functional requirements, management-level presentations, and proposals.

  • Exceptional verbal and negotiation abilities, enabling effective management of ambiguity and consensus-building.

  • Proven track record of delivering finance projects on time

  • Experience working effectively with internal and external teams

  • Experience consulting or professional services

  • Experience managing a global and diverse team

  • Ability to drive projects forward with urgency are highly valued.
