Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, develop and deploy data processing applications and frameworks on Private and Public cloud-based infrastructure like AWS, GCP etc. Utilize cluster management/orchestration software like Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Helm charts, or Docker. Design large-scale, complex applications with excellent run-time characteristics such as lowlatency, fault-tolerance and availability. Develop core product unique to Apple and integrated with Apple tools and create process to improve customer experience for users across Apple. Work in highly cross functional teams with partners and customers to gather requirements and collaborate on development, testing and production releases. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,534 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Distributed Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

• Build Cloud Based Ingestion Platform

• NoSQL, SQL, HBase and AWS Cloud-based Technologies

• Cloud Based Micro-services

• Geospatial

• Spatial indexing

• Spark, Kafka and Hive

• OLAP Cube Building

• Workflow Orchestration
