Summary
Join the Wi-Fi Firmware development team and be part of an outstanding team of engineers driving innovation on products used by millions worldwide. Our team is looking for a highly motivated Wi-F- Firmware Engineer to drive implementation and optimization of FW/SW design for Apple’s latest products, including next generation of iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Mac and more.
Description
Be a key member of the Wi-Fi Firmware development team, where you will work on FW/SW design, integration, testing and optimization from early prototypes until productization. The work involves documenting requirements, design documentation, FW implementation, performance evaluation on SW/HW prototypes, analyzing logs, and pushing features through the build process into released SW. Engineers will be working with extended teams in the system, HW, and PHY teams to complete joint effort features.
Minimum Qualifications
You’re fluent in C/C++ You understand wireless communications and have networking stack exposure
You understand communication theory and can contribute to technical discussions regarding wireless systems
You’re fluent in Git or other code source management tools
Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across teams
Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
Possess a BS in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
You have a MS in electrical engineering or equivalent
You enjoy taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Handle conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise
