If you join Cummins’ Strategy team, you will be at the forefront of Cummins’ transition to a clean energy future. As a Business Strategist, you will work directly with senior leaders to develop recommendations for Cummins’ most pressing strategic priorities. You will have ownership initially over an individual workstream and eventually over entire projects with multiple opportunities to directly present your recommendations to Cummins leaders. Previous interns have evaluated growth opportunities in the clean energy space, assessed M&A options, developed supply chain risk mitigation strategies, and so much more.

This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Indiana or Indianapolis, Indiana for a Business Strategy Co-op. The role is hybrid, by which we mean that employees are expected to be present in both locations periodically for stakeholder and team engagement, and work from home is also possible. Interns are expected to be in an office location 3 days/week. Location may be flexible.

Degree Programs Considered: Master’s Degree or MBA in Management, or similar programs in management
QUALIFICATIONS
2025 Monthly Salary Range by Degree Level:
MS/MBA - $5,300 - $7,900
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
Co-op program criteria:
Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing MBA or similar degree
Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred
Must be able to complete a 6-month length assignment
Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
Willingness to learn from others on the job
