Description of Role Need:
This position will be responsible for the review of managing Mergers, Acquisition and Divestitures for American Express as per applicable Policies & Addendums within defined SLA.
Lead PMO for GSM in coordination with various stakeholders to comply with applicable policies / procedures and ensure risks are mitigated timely and effectively
Lead due diligence of potential Mergers, acquisitions or divestitures
Lead efficient change management strategy during cutover for GSM
Act as GSM SPOC for enterprise PMO and other stakeholders for M&A’s
Ensure timeline integration / divestiture and Lead reporting on status
Key Responsibilities:
Define the approach to efficiently identify and mitigate Risk related to GSM (Third-Party management, Payment products and Travel & Expense procedures)
Define clear roles and responsibilities for all the stakeholders involved in Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (M&A) Third-Party Management and integration
Perform and coordinate Due Diligence of target to understand Third Party (supplier) landscape and determine areas of risk and focus to mitigate the risks
Ensure cross-functional alignment for Strategy and Procedures to efficiently manage Third-Party Onboarding, Payments & integrations as per applicable policies and enterprise strategy for business
Define timelines, key deliverables, and align with associated owners for each M&A phase
Define procedures that ensure business continuity of acquisition and efficient change management in terms of suppliers.
Assess completeness of data and identify issues, i.e.suppliers listed as critical even though supplier is replaceable or service categories with incomplete information, etc.
Partner with PMO to define diligence approach, integration planning, and overall progress
Effectively manage E2E project for integration within defined timelines as per policy & procedures in coordination with appropriate stakeholders
Effective reporting in terms of status of integration
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to build relationships and influence colleagues at all levels of the organization
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to effectively interface with stakeholders, and senior leadership across the Enterprise
Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt easily to frequent change
Familiar with governance frameworks and processes for Procurement & Payment Operations, Third-Party Risk, and Contracting
Prior experience in roles involving due diligence of third parties
Background / past experience with Mergers and Acquisitions frameworks would be preferred
Professional certifications such as or related credentials are a plus
Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
Experience with Project Management of large scale and stakeholders and Certification in project management would be an added advantage
Qualifications
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
