Description

This Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a Senior AI engineer to help us shape and craft the next generation of interactive creative applications for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies in Generative AI. We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with strong software development skills and a passion for applying Generative AI and Machine Learning to creative applications. You’ll be responsible for building, testing optimizing and shipping intelligent agents and embedded AI features across our creative applications. As a member of our organization, you will assist us in crafting future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people!

Minimum Qualifications

• Ms or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development, shipping products with ML/AI with recent focus on GenAI and LLMs.

• Strong programming skills in ML frameworks and ML Toolkits with strong experience in using these languages for machine learning (ML) modeling and applied research

• Strong background in computer science: algorithms, data structures and system design with proficiency in at least one of these languages - Swift , C/C++ , Python

• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills

• Communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional setting. Ability to work hands-on with multi- functional teams

• Passionate about building extraordinary creative applications with Generative AI. Eagerness and ability to learn new skills and solve dynamic problems in an encouraging and expansive environment.

• Ability to drive early-stage research projects with risks and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deploying ML models on Apple stack - experience using Swift MLX , PyTorch MLX , CoreML is a bonus

• Experience in neural rendering and 3D graphics

• Actively programming with high-quality codes across complex and large repositories

• Industry experience in shipping on-device ML models
