• Jr Performance Tester (Synthetic Transaction)

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have a diagnosis which is on the Autism Spectrum.
  
  Responsibilities
  • Responsible for designing, creating, and deploying scripts that function as users and record transaction performance and response times.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand architecture, standards and frameworks for performance scripts
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to establish and document performance requirements (non-functional requirements; NFRs)
  • Develop and maintain performance scripts in coordination with the project lead
  • Develop robust, reusable, performance test scripts for each application or system
  • Work closely with operations and infrastructure teams to:
    • Model appropriate workloads to meet performance objectives
    • Specify, acquire and maintain performance test environments
    • Execute and monitor performance scripts
  • Coordinate the procurement of representative data sets required for performance tests
  • Plan and manage the schedule of performance test activities
  • Monitor and report progress of performance results
  • Work with development, operations and infrastructure teams to recommend performance tuning and validate results

Qualifications
Required

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• Web based applications knowledge

Preferred

• Experience analyzing application performance
• Performance testing experience
• Experience or familiarity with synthetic transactions utilizing application monitoring software/logic tools (i.e. ITCAM, Load Runner, Dynatrace)
• HTTP request used by applications and web services experience (Request headers, Payloads, Authentication methods, Interpretation of response data)
