Description

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications and data pipelines that power evaluation workflows for GenAI models. You’ll work across the entire technology stack—frontend, backend, data, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines—to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable switching between hands-on coding, system architecture discussions, and operational troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), and 1+ year(s) of professional experience building and maintaining python-based applications and tooling (web applications, scripts, REST APIs, databases).

  • Strong proficiency in Python, and experience building UI apps, scripts, or tools for using libraries such as Pandas, Streamlit, and Flask or Django. Experience with reading app logs or script logs and debugging code, as well as good coding quality practices and knowledge.

  • Hands-on experience building automated scripts and pipelines to process data from various sources (CSV, JSON, databases, APIs). Able to comfortably navigate Linux or macOS using command-line

  • Hands-on experience using SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite) to create tables, create indexes and constraints, and writing and running queries.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with common AWS resources (S3, EC2, EKS).

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, or similar) and writing automated unit tests and applying linting.

  • Hands-on experience using git and IDEs for development.

  • Hands-on experience containerizing applications using Docker and deploying on Kubernetes (EKS preferred) or similar.

  • Hands-on experience supporting developers or teams building Generative AI and LLMs.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
