How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for small, medium and large businesses. To ensure we keep on the leading edge of the dynamic commercial payments landscape, the GCS Strategy, M&A and Alliances team is charged with defining the long-term business objectives and driving strategic opportunities to accelerate revenue growth. The team plays an integral role in defining, developing, and leading new strategies, inorganic growth (M&A), partnership (Alliances) opportunities, as well as managing Annual Investment Planning, Opex, Strategic Engagement Team to accelerate our overall strategy and vision.

The Manager, Strategic Alliances will be responsible for the comprehensive management of a portfolio of commercially oriented tech giants and other financial technologies firms that have high relevance to GCS’s strategic priorities and present cross functional and/or multi-market growth opportunities. This individual will work across their portfolio to drive incremental market and existing customer engagement through targeted go-to-market initiatives and improved customer experience journeys, while also ensuring all controls and compliance requirements are being met. Additionally, this individual will partner heavily with teams across GCS, and the broader Blue Box, to ensure consistent alignment and increase our potential with key strategic partners.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and own comprehensive partner management plans that incorporate strategies and actions for:

1.

  1. driving awareness of the partnership in market through partner-led marketing activities and coordinate with the Strategic Alliances Go to Market lead and/or Product lead to understand the partner’s marketing and sales plan and provide recommendations to ensure partner success and customer ramp

  2. expand applicable use cases and capabilities that address customer needs as new products/incremental capabilities become available

  3. support customer enrollment and spend ramp activities via educational collateral creation and/or Field training and engagement

    • Respond to partner queries and concerns in a timely manner

    • Lead contract activities and commercial restructuring with existing partners as required

    • Ensure ongoing compliance with marketing guidelines and coordinate approval of assets as needed

    • Conduct and lead ongoing monitoring as required by compliance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience leading external relationships

  • Knowledge of commercial payments and FinTech trends

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – both written and verbal – with confidence communicating and presenting to audiences of all levels, both internally and externally

  • Comfortable leading multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter with initiative, drive, and attention to detail

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator across business units

  • Critical thinker with the ability to develop a multidimensional action plan that delivers results

  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of Commercial Card/B2B payments relationship/consulting/sales management

  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, expense management solutions and Accounting/ERP systems

  • Contract management experience

  • Project management skills and experience

  • Knowledge of the competitive environment within the Commercial Card and P2P space

  • Understanding of Treasury functions and T&E management

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $145,000.00 annually bonus benefits
