About The Director, Stress Test Data Strategy & Platform Management

The Director of the Stress Test Data Strategy & Platform Management will lead the development of the data roadmap for use in CCAR and will be responsible for defining and owning the strategy for managing all CCAR delivery platforms (TM1 and AiDA), while driving strategic insights and innovation by leveraging Generative AI for use across the team and driving a strong governance and control culture. Along with the other VP leads, Director will evaluate ongoing methodologies, assess results, and drive ongoing enhancements through data, technology, people and Gen AI, ensuring robust tech capabilities and system resilience.

This role is a critical member of the CFR Finance & AXP Stress Testing organizations and will work with key stakeholders to deliver stress testing results in regulatory and management forecasting exercises. This role not only ensures the resilience and reliability of our systems but also plays a crucial part in strategic decision-making. The Director will be adept at leveraging data to drive insights and strategies, positioning themselves as a key data strategist for the team. Additionally, the Director will be at the forefront of promoting the use of Generative AI (Gen AI) within the team, fostering innovation and enhancing our capabilities.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Provide strategic and innovative thought leadership with an ability to develop multi-year tech roadmaps for CCAR delivery

  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Tech Finance and the TM1 Development team to understand CCAR user needs, design and document functional requirements and deliver prioritized capabilities and features

  • Lead and inspire an engaged team that will provide strategic and product development support

  • Drive efficiency and innovation through Gen AI

  • Develop and present findings and transformation work to senior leaders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading the development of data roadmaps and ensuring robust tech capabilities.

  • Experience in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation and enhance organizational capabilities.

  • A track record of ensuring system resilience and reliability; TM1 infrastructure knowledge a plus.

  • Ability to provide thought leadership and creativity in solving challenging platform delivery issues

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and drive results.

  • Strong relationship and collaboration skills while able to challenge the status quo

  • Knowledge of financial planning, P&L modeling, reporting processes and CCAR a plus

  • Experience with Big Data platforms and advanced analytics a plus

  • Experience in risk and control management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.

  • BS. in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science

Qualifications

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
